You hear the word Yoga and it just sounds like its therapeutic! Well it is and for many reasons both mental and physical.
Yoga is the union of the mind and body. When we practice yoga, we bring mindfulness to our breathe and how we move. It becomes intentional movement instead of habitual.
Yoga relieves stress
Yoga improves balance
Yoga regulates your nervous system
Yoga can stimulate the digestive system
Yoga improves strength and flexibility
I like the saying " You are one yoga class away from a great mood"! This is so true because I don't know how you can leave yoga feeling bad! It seems to slow the world down for just enough time.
